Iraqi Health Minister Dr. Salih Al-Hasnawi has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for issuing his directives to transfer Iraqi conjoined twins Zainab and Ruqiyyah from Iraqi city of Najaf to Riyadh and to conduct a surgery for separating them at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh. He also commended the King of Humanity for this noble initiative of personally following up their case. In a press statement, the Iraqi Minister also expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the medical team led by Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah who recently succeeded in separating the conjoined two girls, noting that the success of this difficult operation confirms Saudi medical excellence in this field.
