Pakistani Education Institution Wins ISESCO Literacy Prize

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), has awarded its literacy prize to the Elementary Education Foundation (EEF) in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, ISESCO Director General, handed over Monday the prize to Imtiaz Kazi, representative of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to ISESCO Executive Council, at the close of the opening session of the 31st meeting of ISESCO Executive Council.
ISESCO Literacy Prize for the year 2009 was granted to the (Literacy for All) project of the Elementary Education Foundation (EEF) in Pakistan to reward the leading literacy experiences in English-speaking Member States, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM."
