The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) signed here today seven agreements with Saudi-Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI) for boosting training and Bursaries in line with the Institute's non-profitable system. SJAHI is the first non-profitable institute to be established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On behalf of HRDF, the agreements were signed by Hisham Linjawi, the director of HRDF's branch in Makkah province, while on behalf of the Japanese cars' distributing companies in Saudi Arabia, the agreements were signed by representatives of Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Honda, Suzuki, Mazda and Isuzu. Salim Al-Asmari, the executive director of SJAHI, said the number of students for whom the agreements were signed amounts to 250. He noted that relations between the Japanese cars distributing companies in Saudi Arabia and HRDF began since 2003 and the HRDF has extended so far support for training of 1,750 youngsters. Any student who joins the institute can easily find the required job after graduation and at the same time he receives SR 1500 as a monthly bursary, he said. Meanwhile, Linjawi said the SJAHI embodies the existing technological development in the Kingdom and reflects the vocational awareness of the Saudi youth.
