Saudi Arabia's pavilion at Tokyo Book Fair currently in progress here has attracted large numbers of Japanese visitors especially a Saudi Tent and an Arabic Calligraphy Wing. The Pavilion displays the history and achievements of Saudi Arabia in humanitarian, social, economic and cultural fields. It includes 527 titles in Arabic, English and Japanese languages. It also contains replicas of the Holy Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, which highlight the interest and attention paid by the Government of Saudi Arabia to Holy Places and the efforts exerted for enabling pilgrims and Umrah performers to perform their rituals easily and comfortably. The Ministry of Higher Education, which supervises the Pavilion, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information, King Abdulaziz Public Library and Supreme Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, have been keen on achieving the desired results from the Pavilion in displaying Saudi culture and progress in various fields.
