Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, chaired at his office here today a meeting of the Supreme Hajj Committee. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz welcomed the Committee's members and conveyed the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to them. Prince Naif said that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz are keen on achieving more success in this year's Hajj season. Prince Naif urged the committee to double the efforts to achieve high levels of security, safety and comfort for all pilgrims and Umrah performers. During the meeting, a number of issues on the agenda were discussed and a number of decisions were taken. The members of the Supreme Hajj Committee are the Governor of Makkah Province, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, the Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, the Governor of Madinah Province, the General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Hajj, the Minister of Economy and Planning, the Minister of Culture and Information, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Transport, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
