Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Attiyah hailed here today the speech of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the summit of G20 at Toronto, Canada. Al-Attiyah pointed out that the participation of the King in this important summit embodies the status of the Kingdom, both politically and economically and emphasizes the effective and constructive role of GCC member states in international decision making process. In a press statement he made to SPA, Al-Attiyah said that the King's call to avoid erecting protective barriers and taking appropriate measurements to support financing to secure world trade recovery as well as his call to reform financial systems to avoid facing afresh new world economic crises are emanated of wisdom, insight and expertise on one hand, and keenness on the other, to have a more balanced world for the benefit of all countries and communities. -- SPA
