Abha's Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized here today a meeting under the chairmanship of Eng. Abdullah Al-Mubti, the Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors, with the visiting U.S. higher education delegation and Saudi 'Fodatel' company. Speaking on the occasion, Eng. Al-Mubti shed light on the investment projects in Assir province and underscored the importance of establishing a private university, noting that the state has been giving a great attention to private education. Eng. al-Mubti highlighted the existing deep-rooted Saudi-American relations and the role of the Abha Chamber as regards enhancing these bilateral relations. On behalf of the American delegation, Dr. Leonard Hausman welcomed the strategic partnership in the field of higher education and voiced readiness to invest in Assir province.
