Sudanese Prof. Abdulkarim Clinches IDB Prize for Islamic Banking and Financing

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB), has decided in its annual meetings currently in progress here to award the Bank's Prize of Islamic Banking and Financing to Sudanese Professor Rifaat Ahmed Abdulkarim, the Secretary General of Council of Islamic Financial Services, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Prof. Abdulkarim is the first Sudanese Professor and the 27th at the level of the world to win this award since its establishment in 1988.
