IDB Prize for Sudanese professor

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has decided in its annual meetings currently in progress here to award the Prize for Islamic Banking and Finance to Sudanese Professor Rifaat Ahmed Abdulkarim. The professor is at present Secretary General of Council of Islamic Financial Services in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Prof. Abdulkarim is the first Sudanese professor and the 27th at the international level to win this award since its establishment in 1988.
