A car and a truck collided Monday afternoon, leaving four dead and two injured in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, local authorities said. The accident happened at 2:00 p.m. on national highway 201 in Jixi City of Heilongjiang, leaving four people in the car killed at the site while the truck driver and his wife were injured, Xinhua quoted an official of the municipal government as saying. The two injured had been sent to hospital, the official said. Initial investigation shows that the rain reduced the visibility, the official said. Further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
