Abdallah S. Juma'ah, former President, Director, and CEO of Saudi Aramco, has been appointed to Board of Directors of oil services company Halliburton, a company press release announced Monday. The appointment is effective July 14, 2010, according to a report published today by Saudi Aramco. “Abdallah Juma'ah brings tremendous global knowledge and industry wisdom to our Board and we are delighted that someone of his caliber became available for service to our organization. We look forward to working with him and introducing him to shareholders at the annual meeting in 2011,” said Halliburton Chairman of the Board, President and CEO Dave Lesar. Juma'ah currently serves on the JP Morgan Chase International Advisory Council, and is a former member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum. Juma'ah joins current Halliburton board members Alan M. Bennett, James R. Boyd, Milton S. Carroll, Nance K. Dicciani, S. Malcolm Gillis, James T. Hackett, David J. Lesar, Robert A. Malone, J. Landis Martin, and Debra L. Reed.
