Two bridges collapse due to floods in Indonesia

Two bridges, namely Upomela and Ilomata, in Gorontalo District collapsed after being hit by floods on Sunday.
The Upomela bridge was constructed seven months ago at a total cost of Rp2.7 billion. It connects several villages such as Molaniu, Tohupo and Batuloren.
The Ilomata bridge was built two years ago. Some people suspected that the bridge was constructed not using proper materials.
Floods were reported inundating West Limboto, Tibawa and Bongomeme, sub districts at the height of between 30-60 cm, ANTARA reported.
