President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan will patronize on Wednesday the 35th meeting for the IDB group due to be held in Baku with the participation of finance, economy and planning ministers in the IDB's member states. As many as 1000 delegates, who represent the regional and international financing institutions, will participate in the meeting in addition to representatives of the Islamic banks and national financing establishments as well as federations of contractors and consultants in the member states. It is worth mentioning that the IDB was established by 22 countries in 1975, but now its membership has jumped to 56. The IDB constitutes a pioneering experience in the field of joint Islamic work and international cooperation among the developing countries as well as a model of fruitful cooperation among the member states. The IDB founders include the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Libya, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Iran and Egypt.
