Marzouki said, adding that roads with the length of 30,000 kilometer are under construction. He also highlighted the significance of the railways as regards shipping and building of ports. He noted that Al-Haramein Train will link Makkah and Madinah via Jeddah with fast express trains which are provided with the most sophisticated technology. Al-Marzouki highlighted the importance of the land bridge which will link the Red Sea ports with ports of the eastern coast and said it will have a positive impact on the national economy. The eighth and the final session, which was concerned with tourism and transport of passengers, was attended by a number of experts from Europe. The participants of the session shed light on challenges facing passengers as well as development of utilities. The participants of the session called for investment in the field of maritime tourism.
