Jeddah Governor to Open Saudi Maritime Forum

Prince Misha'al bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Jeddah will open here on Sunday the 2nd Saudi Maritime Forum 2010 to be organized by Jeddah's Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Al-Faris Group of Conferences and Exhibitions in the presence of Minister of Transport Dr. Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraysiri, who is also Chairman of Board of Directors of Saudi Ports Authority.
As many as 1000 experts and specialists in ports industry and maritime transport from the Kingdom and abroad will take part in the three-day Forum.
The Prince will also inaugurate the International Exhibition of Maritime Ports with the participation of 50 exhibitors from government and private sectors working in ports industry and maritime transport.
The President of Saudi Ports Authority Dr. Khalid Bubshait said that the Forum aims to discuss and tackle issues of maritime ports and transport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
