Norway's Minister of Foreign Affairs Younas Gar Stora received Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, who is currently on an official visit to the Scandinavian country. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency and the Saudi Television following the meeting, the minister said "We are in the process of developing and enhancing the relations between the two countries in political, economic and cultural fields". He noted that Norway and Saudi Arabia are making important contributions to bring about peace and security in the world. He added that economic cooperation between the two countries receives priority of the two countries' interests. On Prince Salman's visit, he said "Long time we were gearing for this visit", noting that Prince Salman will have an audience with King Harold V of Norway, the Prime Minister and a number of senior government officials.
