King Harald V of Norway today received the credentials of Khalid Abdulrazeq bin Yousef Alnafeesi, the first resident Saudi ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Norway. During the audience, Alnafeesi conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the King of Norway, wishing the relations between the two countries every progress and prosperity. For his part, the King of Norway sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and best wishes to the Saudi people. Following the meeting, Alnafeesi said opening a Saudi embassy in Norway comes within the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to boost its relations with Norway in the economic, political and cultural fields in addition to facilitate and serve the Islamic community in the Scandinavian country.
