The Saudi medical team continued today its activities by conducting two heart surgeries at the Sanaa-based Saud-German Hospital within the framework of the heart surgery program organized by the International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO). This will raise the number of heart surgeries since the start of the program on Saturday to 15 operations in addition to 40 examinations undertaken for surgeries. The Saudi medical team is expected to conduct within the next two days about 15 additional operations in addition to conducting 80 examinations prior to surgeries in cooperation with a number of Yemeni medical sectors. The Saudi medical team comprises a number of consultants, technicians from the hospitals of the armed forces, the national guard, and King Faisal Specialist Hospital.
