Taif University won two gold and two bronze medals at a recently held 38th International Exhibition of Inventions, in Geneva. The event, which highlighted 1000 products from 45 countries, was organized last month-end by Salon International des Inventions and was arranged at Geneva Palexpo. Two of the awards were granted for making anti-biotic substances, extracted from herbs that grow in the Saudi resort region of Al-Taif. The Saudis also earned the bronze medals for making a technology that can detect the expired meat, KUNA reported. Al-Taif University won two gold and two bronze medals.
