The Saudi ambassador to Indonesia Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Amin Al-Khayat opened here this evening Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud hospital, an affiliate of the University of Shahkwala and two affiliate dispensaries in the village of Long and the village of Li Fong. During a special ceremony, the ambassador also handed over phase II of the residential units totaling 162 out of 1000 units. The rest of units are currently under construction under the supervision of the Saudi Relief Charitable Campaign for the victims of tsunami in Indonesia. The ambassador said the Saudi relief campaign is diversified, citing its interest in different areas including homes, schools, health centers, mosques renovation, orphans patronage, wells digging, cemetery fencing and contribution to the infrastructure of quake-ravaged areas. He added that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Saudi people are happy to offer such services to their brothers in Islam in Indonesia. Addressing the gathering, the representative of the Islamic Development Bank Razak Retni said the Saudi relief campaign has so far executed 1500 residential units as phase I included 500 units and phase II included 1000. Today we are handing over 162 units out of 1000 under construction, he said.
