Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs went on stressing that "In this regard, I can not fail to reiterate the position of the Arab calling for make the entire Middle East region including the Gulf region free from all weapons of mass destruction without any exception and to express the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the efforts of the Group 5 +1 to solve peacefully the crisis of the Iranian nuclear program and to ensure the right of all countries in the region in the peaceful use of nuclear energy in accordance with standards and requirements of the International Atomic Energy Agency and urge Iran to respond, with transparency and credibility, to these efforts". He also said that "In this international field, we find that the Arab countries and China have common visions regarding the importance of activating the role of the United Nations and improving its performance and achieving a balanced and fair representation of the South's countries in all its structures and organs starting from the Security Council to all bodies of the international financial system". Concluding his speech, Prince Saud Al-Faisal reiterated his thanks to the Chinese government for its efforts to hold this meeting, wishing it concludes with positive and practical outcomes enhancing the cooperation, consultation and coordination between the Arab countries and the People's Republic of China in all fields.
