An Afghan official says a suicide attack has killed one person and wounded two outside a base in eastern Afghanistan. The Interior Ministry says the suicide bomber was in a car packed with explosives in Khost province. The ministry said the blast killed an Afghan civilian and wounded two Afghan security guards. Mubarak Zarin, a spokesman for the governor of Khost, said the attack happened outside Camp Chapman, according to a report of the Associated Press.
