Four Afghan National policemen have been killed in explosion in eastern Afghanistan, according to The Associated Press. Police spokesman Amir Hassan in Khost province says a civilian also died in the Wednesday morning blast just outside a police barracks. He says members of the Afghan National Police found two explosive devices, detonated one and removed the other, which subsequently exploded. The Afghan Ministry of Interior says three members of the national police force and three civilians were wounded in southern Afghanistan when a suicide bomber in a truck detonated his explosives near a police office in the Daman district of Kandahar province. Three vehicles, including an ambulance, were damaged in the blast.
