Austria's President Dr. Heinz Fischer has received here Saudi Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Anqari and the delegation accompanying him currently on a visit to Austria. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Anqari congratulated the Austrian President on winning presidential election and conveyed to him the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud on this occasion, expressing the interest of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in enhancing relations between the two countries. The Minister has also met with Austrian Minister of Science and Scientific Research Dr. Beatrix Karl and discussed scientific and research topics pertaining to signing some contracts and agreements between the ministries and universities of the two countries. Dr. Al-Anqari expressed his desire for increasing the number of Saudi students on scholarships in Austrian universities through Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Foreign Scholarships currently about 500 students. In the presence of Dr. Al-Anqari and Saudi Ambassador to Austria, Prince Mansour bin Khaled Al Saud, a number of Saudi universities including King Saud University and academies have signed here with Austrian counterparts a number of service contracts. On the other hand, Saudi Cultural Attaché Office in Austria, organized a meeting between Dr. Al-Anqari and Saudi students on scholarships in Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Following the meeting, the Saudi Minister of Higher Education announced the issuing of a book entitled "King, We Love" as the largest project translated into German language by Saudi Cultural Office in Vienna on the King's biography.
