The Delegation of Majlis Al-Shura led by Dr Mohammed Al-Jifri, a member of Majlis Al-Shura, held a meeting here today with the delegation of the Arabian Peninsula at the European parliament. They reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest including the Saudi-European political and economic relations and other related topics. The Delegation affirmed the keenness on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on enhancing its relations with the friendly countries notably the countries of the European Union. The Delegation made it clear that the Kingdom believes in dialogue as a way of settling disputes. The delegation highlighted the Kingdom's efforts in bringing about educational progress through establishment of several universities, notably King Abdullah University of Sciences and Technology (KAUST). The delegation also shed light on the achievements attained by Majlis Al-Shura.
