A delegation of Majlis Al-Shura will start tomorrow an official visit to Belgium and the Grand Dutchy of Luxemburg under the chairmanship of Dr Mohammed Al-Jufri, the Head of the Saudi-European Friendship Committee. The visit comes within the framework of cementing relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European parliament and Luxemburg in various domains notably parliamentary relations between Majlis Al-Shura and the Belgian and European Parliaments. Dr Al-Jufri reiterated the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on enhancing relations with the fraternal and friendly countries notably the countries of the European Union. Majlis Al-Shura is keen on opening new horizons in its parliamentary relations with various countries, he said. He noted that the delegation will meet a number of senior officials of the Belgian government and parliament, Luxemburg as well as the European parliament to review means of cementing relations.
