The Conference of Rights and Duties of Muslims in Western Societies concluded here today. In its recommendations, the Conference emphasized the importance of world dialogue conferences organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Makkah, Madrid, the United Nations, and Geneva, emanating from the principles of tolerant Islam, also affirming the necessity of adherence to the objectives of Islam in the dialogue with others and cooperation with them. Addressing the closing session of the Conference, the Secretary General of Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, who is also President of Islamic Universities League, called on scholars and researchers for developing solutions to social and economic problems for Muslims in the West and for studying their issues, especially as they represent a significant segment of the Western societies.
