Minister of Agriculture Dr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim chairing Saudi side and New Zeeland Minister of Trade Timothy Groser chairing New Zealand side signed here today the minutes of Joint Ministerial Committee' minutes of its fourth session meetings at the ministerial level. The meetings were attended by the two official delegations and a group of businessmen from the two countries. Dr. Balghunaim, in a speech, welcomed the Minister and accompanying delegation in the Kingdom, pointing out that cooperation agreement in economic, commercial, investment, technical, cultural and youth and sports fields between the two governments plus the joint committee constitute an important basis for wider prospect of bilateral cooperation in all these fields. On his part, the New Zealand Minister expressed gratitude for Saudi hospitality, stressing the importance of the joint committee as a mechanism for promoting bilateral cooperation in commercial and economic arenas. He highlighted the significance of Saudi economy at the world level and its importance as a partner to New Zealand in the region of the Middle East. -- SPA
