Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President of King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftness and Creativity (Mawhibah), has thanked the workers of the foundation for achieving the fourth position in the category of social sciences and manners during participation in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2008. In a reply cable to Minister of Education and Vice President of the foundation Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Alo'baid, the king hoped this accomplishment will help achieve the foundation's goals and serve the various tracks of development. The minister thanked the king for his support for these national achievements and his noble feelings toward the gifted and inventors. The student Ahmad Alna'aimi won the fourth position prize in the category of social sciences and manners in the ISEF 2008 fair. This is his second for the second consecutive year as he won two prizes for an invention and a demonstration of research project in ISEF 2007. The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) is an annual event designed to show off the best of high school science from around the world. It draws 1,500 students from 51 countries to a host city to show off their work. The kids compete for $4 million in scholarships and awards.
