Israeli negotiations due to continual intransigence of the Israeli government and non-fulfillment of its obligations towards the bases and principles of the peace process and the provisions of the resolutions of the international legitimacy. The two sides hoped that the European Union and the United States of America play their roles in moving the peace process according to its frameworks and adopted references especially Arab Peace Initiative and in urging the Government of Israel on removing the obstacles that prevent this, such as unilateral actions and the continuation of Israeli settlement policy. On Iraq's Affairs, the two sides emphasized the necessity of respecting the unity, sovereignty, independence of Iraq, and the preservation of its Arab and Islamic identity, as well as non-interference in its internal affairs. They welcomed the relative improvement in the security situation inside Iraq, and they called on the Government of Iraq to make further efforts towards a political achievement compatible with the improvement in the security climate conducive to the achievement of the desired national reconciliation. The two sides expressed their readiness to cooperate with the Iraqi authorities in confronting terrorism, reiterating the positions of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states on condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, regardless of its motives and causes. --More
