They also call for supporting the control of the state and its national institutions over all Lebanese territories, for cooperation to implement the international legitimacy resolutions including the resolution of the security council No. 1701 and for the necessity that all Lebanese work on unification of Lebanese ranks, enhancement of security and stability and dominance of wisdom, reason and language of dialogue. The two countries stressed their commitment to help the Iraqi people and to exert efforts to achieve security and stability in Iraq. They agreed that the national reconciliation between all Iraqi strata, expansion of the political process to achieve participation of all classes of Iraqi people and disbanding various militias constitute important bases for Iraq's stability.
