"This city will be another addition to other scientific, educational and health institutions," says the paper, adding that the Kingdom has made big strides toward progress and prosperity. "The establishment of this city constitutes an important step towards usage of energy in the peaceful domains in a manner that serves the interests of the citizens and the country. "The Kingdom witnesses increasing demand for water and electricity as well as hydrocarbons , so it an essential matter to use sustainable alternative resources for power generation and production of desalinated water," the newspaper added. "As stipulated in the Royal order, the peaceful usage of atomic energy will enable the state in getting acquainted with the requirements of the people so as to meet these needs in a well-studied manner. Undoubtedly, this is an important development and it comes in line with the numerous achievements attained by the Kingdom under the leadership of King Abdullah," the daily concluded.
