Thirty people were held hostage for an hour by a man who failed his driver's test in the Macedonian capital Skopje, media reported Saturday, according to dpa. The 21-year-old man, who had also failed the test previously, left the exam office and returned with Kalashnikov rifle. He pointed the weapon at the exam commission and the people present and held them at gunpoint for an hour. One of the instructors managed to contact the police who disarmed the man. Nobody was hurt and the man was detained for questioning.
