Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, President of General Intelligence Presidency (GIP), and the head of the delegation of Saudi Arabia to Nuclear Security Summit attended here on Monday a luncheon hosted by U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, in honor of a number of Heads of Delegations of Non-Aligned Movement participating in the Summit. In his speech during the ceremony, Biden pointed out that the objectives of the United States of America and the Non-Aligned Movement have been closer than ever, especially with regard to curbing the proliferation of nuclear weapons and other issues of mutual interest. He stressed the commitment of the United States of America to reduce its nuclear arsenal, noting that the participants in the Conference agreed that increasing the number of nuclear weapons or states in the world is a bad trend and that the interests of all lie in controlling and securing nuclear equipment and materials used in manufacturing nuclear weapons.
