Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa met with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad Monday, during his visit to Damascus to discuss developments in the Arab World, sources close to the leaders were quoted as saying by the German Press Agency "DPA". Shortly after his arrival on Sunday evening, Moussa said that he would discuss with al-Assad the results of last month's Arab League summit in Sirte, Libya. Moussa said that the situation in the Arab world "is a little better" than it was before the summit. Moussa is expected to meet with the Damascus-based Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Meshaal later on Monday.
