Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, opened here today a 5-day general meeting of Saudi Ambassadors and Heads of Missions abroad. During the opening ceremony, Prince Saud delivered a speech in which he thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; and Second Deputy Premier Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for approving the meeting. Prince Saud said that a comprehensive strategic plan was developed and will be discussed during the meeting. The plan is titled "Five-year strategic plan for Saudi diplomatic work and the role of the ministry and missions in implementing it". The plan is based on the objectives of the 9th Five-Year State Plan, he added.
