Yemeni President opens cement factory

Mukalla, Yemen, Apr 08, SPA -- Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Salih opened yesterday a cement factory in Hadhramaut province with a total cost of USD260 million and with a production capacity of 1,500,000 tons of cement per year.
The opening of the factory was attended by Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah bin Ahmad Zainal.
In a speech at the opening, the Yemeni president lauded the Saudi support for the Yemeni economy through investments by Saudi investors.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, Minister Zainal highlighted the two countries' cooperation.
