Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, today paid an inspection visit to the armed forces stationed at the southern border in Jazan Region. He was briefed by senior duty officers on the latest situation of control of the border area. Addressing the Naval Task Force /88/, Prince Khalid bin Sultan expressed happiness to have received the latest reports on the excellent preparedness of the armed forces in this region, wishing them every success in their mission of tightly keeping the security of the country at the border area. He conveyed to them the satisfaction of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who recently paid an inspection field visit to the region, over their performance and preparedness. Prince Khalid bin Sultan paid tribute to the Saudi armed forces martyrs who were killed in action, wishing the injured quick recovery. He attributed this great achievement to the prudent instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also Commander-in-chief of all the armed forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prince Khalid bin Sultan was accompanied Major General Staff Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Commander of the Land Forces, and several senior commanders and officers.
