Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation for Military Affairs paid on Sunday an inspection visit to the Northern Region. Upon arrival at King Khalid Military City Airport, Prince Khalid bin Sultan was received by the Region's Commander, Major General Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Shehri, and a number of senior officers. The Prince visited the Group of King Abdulaziz 20th Brigade. In an address at a speech ceremony held on this occasion, Prince Khalid bin Sultan stressed the continuing interest and attention paid to the development of the Armed Forces by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. Prince Khalid bin Sultan reassured all that the Crown Prince is in a good health; and that he will return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after the completion of medical check-up and treatment. The Prince, then, visited the Training Center for Driving Vehicles in the region. Later, he graced a luncheon held in his honor by the Command of the Northern Region. A speech ceremony was held on this occasion. In his speech, Prince Khalid bin Sultan emphasized the importance of training, and said "Whenever the level of proficiency is raised during training, the performance will be improved during fighting."
