Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser, President of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Monetary Council Board of Directors and Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), has stressed that the door was and is still opened for the United Arab Emirates and Sultanate of Oman to join the GCC Monetary Council. Speaking in a press conference held here today following the conclusion of the 1st meeting of the GCC Monetary Council, Dr. Al-Jasser made clear that the premises of the GCC Central Bank and Monetary Council was decided by the Supreme Council of the GCC which selected Riyadh as its headquarters. -- SPA
