At least six people, including a baby girl, were killed and eight others injured in a traffic accident Monday in south China's Guangdong Province, local authorities said Tuesday. The accident happened early Monday morning in Shaoguan City when a truck hit a broken-down passenger bus which had stopped on the side of the highway, Xinhua quoted provincial emergency response officers as saying. Two of the victims died at the scene. The four others died later in hospital. Among those killed was an 18-month-old girl. No further details are available yet. Police have blamed the accident on the passenger bus, which was parked in the wrong lane.
