Thousands of Germans demonstrated here today against the anti-Islam campaign launched by the Pro-N.R.V rightwing movement hostile to Islam and foreigners in Germany. For its part, police pushed sit-in stops organized by from 30 to 50 rightists in front of mosques away from where demonstrators protesting the anti-Islam campaign were marching. Zeugma Gabriel, Chairman of the Socialist Democratic Party, was leading the anti-Islam campaign demonstration. In a report, the Deutsche presse Agentur dpa said Gabriel toured five mosques in Aror Industrial region on a truck. Whoever wants to bar minarets and equalize Islam with terrorism is in fact adopting anti-foreigners objectives, he said.
