The statement in which UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon assured the Palestinians with the support of the UN to them, constitutes a commitment from the international organization to the cause of the Palestinians and at the same time it constitutes a severe criticism of Israel which is planning to build 1,600 new housing units in East Al-Quds. This statement of Ban Ki-moon will build confidence in the international organizations concerned with ending disputes, but such a brave stand requires a strong political will from the side of the influential countries for forcing Israel to comply with the resolutions of the international legitimacy and refrain from work for the abortion of the peace dream." The paper noted that Arab peace initiative has made it clear that just and comprehensive peace, which Israel has failed to respond positively, will benefit the entire world.
