Iranian foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki has called the UN's secretary general Ban Ki-moon to take a firm and serious measure for ending the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza strip. In a message to Ki-moon, he said the Zionist army had used in its recent attacks against the citizens of Gaza prohibited weapons including dangerous poisonous materials. Mottaki pointed out that the practices of Israel run counter to the international laws and principles and constitute war crimes which perpetrator should be punished. He added that Iran expects from the concerned organizations like the UN and the organization of non-proliferation of chemical weapons to shoulder their responsibility through formation of a fact-finding committee on the crimes committed by Israel in Gaza.
