Eng. Ali Abdullah Al Naimi, the Minster of Petroleum and Mineral Resources will lead the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab Ministerial Consultative meeting, scheduled to take place at the headquarters of Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization in Rabat, Morocco, on March 18-20. The meeting is being convened to promote consultations and exchange of views to develop the mining sector in the Arab world. It coincides with the 16th Meeting of the Advisory Committee. The work program of the ministerial meeting includes in-depth discussions on several issues as regards Arab and international developments in the mining sector and engage in following up the recommendations of the Arab summits held over the past six years in the Republic of Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, said Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Mineral Resources Sultan Shawli. The meeting will discuss the 11th Arab Conference of mineral resources to be held in Libya on October 25-27, 2010 and the Ministerial Consultative Meeting to be held on the sidelines of the conference.
