Presided over by Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Yami, Shoura Council member and President of the 2nd Parliamentary Friendship Committee of Shoura Council, the Committee held here yesterday an acquaintance dinner party for ambassadors of the United Kingdom; Republic of Ireland; Republic of Ghana; Republic of Sierra Leone, and Republic of Niger accredited to the Kingdom. In a press statement, Eng. Al-Yami made clear that the Committee aims to hold such acquaintance ceremonies to activate its works and achieve its goals by enhancing the process of parliamentary diplomacy and activating the channels of communication and bilateral relations between the Shoura Council and the parliaments in those countries.
