The Cabinet commended a number of countries for condemning this decision which reflects the insistence of the Israeli authorities to intensify the policy of settlement, expand the existing settlements and impose the policy of fait accompli by changing the demographic composition of the occupied Palestinian territories. The Cabinet reiterated the Kingdom's call for the international community to stand firm in the face of all Israeli practices that aim at undermining the chances for peace, and to move quickly to stop all Israeli provocative practices, siege of the Palestinian people and defying of the will of the international community in bringing peace in the region.
