A light aircraft belonging to a Malaysian flying school crashed into the sea just minutes after take-off, but both the pilot and a trainee escaped unhurt, a news report said Monday. The aircraft crashed some 500 meters from the shore off the eastern state of Kedah, the Star newspaper was quoted as saying by the German Press Agency "DPA". Fishermen rescued the pilot and a trainee pilot from the sea. They were taken to a nearby hospital where they were reported to be in good condition. Officers from the Department of Civil Aviation were inspecting the site of the crash to determine the cause of the accident.
