The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has strongly condemned the recent series of terrorist attacks in Pakistan on March 12 and in Afghanistan on March 13, which killed and wounded dozens of innocent people including women and children. While conveying his profound condolences to the families of the victims and the Governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan, the Secretary General prayed for the quick recovery of the injured. In a press statement issued here yesterday, The Secretary General reiterated that nothing can justify any terrorist act which jeopardizes lives of innocent people and appealed to the relevant authorities to bring perpetrators of these atrocious acts to justice. --MORE
