Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, who is also Chairman of Boards of Directors of Prince Salman Center for Disability Research and Disabled Children's Association, has expressed pride in receiving, on behalf of the Center, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika Award for Arab Pioneers for Empowering Disabled Persons. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Prince commended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for his unlimited support for the disabled persons and his directives to mobilize capabilities and to support initiatives in the field of disability. He praised Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who is also Honorary President of the Association's Founders of the Center for his care of and attention to disabled persons, as well as his initiatives for them, noting that the Crown Prince has supported the Center since its foundation. Prince Sultan bin Salman pointed out that Prince Salman Center for Disability Research is unique in the world, indicating that it was established by Disabled Children's Association in 1995 with a grant from Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, adding that more than 100 founders established endowments worth more than $ 150 million for the Center.
